Getting to Know Your San Diego Holistic Dentist

New Patients

San Diego holistic dentist Carey O'Rielly DDS and his staff are happy to make new patients feel welcome at our green, biological and cosmetic dentistry practice for family and general dental care. Our Encinitas office is open Tuesday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and Mondays and Fridays by appointment. When we do not answer during normal business hours, we are either on the phone or with patients. We always take time to answer your questions, and when you leave a message we will be sure to get back to you. Please call us anytime at 760-632-1304.

The first time you call to make an appointment, our new patient coordinator will discuss some of the following things with you:

• Your main interest in calling our office
• Are you having any pain?
• Are you under another dentist's care?
• When was your most recent dental exam?
• When was your most recent cleaning?
• When were your last X-rays taken?
• Do you have dental insurance?

We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. We also offer financing programs with interest free options. The financing plan you choose can be used in addition to any insurance coverage.

We do not belong to any provider network and we ask that you pay all fees at the time of service. We will submit your claim to your insurance company so that you can be reimbursed according to your plan's permitted coverage. We are also able to submit pre-authorizations as necessary.

PPO Plans. The important thing to know is that a PPO or Preferred Provider plan allows you freedom in selecting your dentist, so should you wish to see Dr. O'Rielly, you will be able to under your plan. You will be responsible for payment at the time of service and then our insurance specialist will submit your claim to your PPO plan for you. You will be reimbursed according to the coverage allowed under your plan.

Recall Patients. We like to see our patients on a regular schedule of preventive care, with X-rays every 1-2 years and a bi-annual exam and cleaning. You are welcome to get your appointment scheduled in advance even if it's six months out, as we will remind you well ahead of the appointment so you won't forget.
